«The longer you’ve been at this, the more aware you are of what’s truly exciting. That after so many years, they trust you to present the most important gala is an honor,” said Buenafuente, for whom sharing this work with »the best comedian in Spain« also means converting »emotion« into »enjoyment, comfort and complicity.” The couple of presenters have also assured that they will try to surpass last year’s edition with the help of the »great team« of El Terrat.
Very excited, Abril said that when someone repeats – “a dish, a tapa, a movie, a song… – it is because the taste that was left in the mouth from that experience could not be better.” She added that the “spirit” with which both approach the work is “the same”: «try to make a ceremony fun, enjoyable, long, very long and that, above all, people in the cinema and those at home enjoy it.”
Buenafuente was also the host of the 24th edition gala, which crossed the barrier of 4.5 million viewers, becoming the most watched in history, the 25th and the 33rd, only in this last edition with Sílvia April.
