The Extremadura Football Federation has designated the towns of Montijo and Puebla de la Calzada as host venues for the first sector of the Spanish Youth and Cadet Men’s Futsal Autonomous Team Championships organized by the RFEF.
This qualifying phase, which our region is hosting for the second consecutive year, will be held in the aforementioned locations from December 27 to 29, with the participation of the under-16 and under-19 teams from Extremadura, Aragon, the Valencian Community and Castilla. and Leon. In both categories, the format will be a league format, with the first two in each group qualifying for the final phase of the tournament.
The Extremaduran teams, led by Marcial Cañada (sub-16) and Alfonso Izquierdo (sub-19), will debut on December 27 in Puebla de la Calzada against Comunidad Valenciana, later playing against Aragón (the 28th in Montijo) and Castilla and León (the 29th in Puebla de la Calzada for the sub-16 and in Montijo for the sub-19).
